Returns & Refunds

YANKEETRADERS® does NOT accept returns of any edible products. All return/refund requests must be made to our Customer Care department within 10 business days of receipt (determined by FedEx tracking) and must be authorized in advance.

We may accept returns of unused non-edible items (such as candles and soap). Refunds exclude shipping costs, and the customer is responsible for return shipping. A 10% restocking fee applies to non-edible returns. A 20% restocking fee plus round-trip shipping charges applies to candy returned due to undeliverable addresses or customer refusal.

Before You Order

Since food products cannot be returned and we do not refund for melting, please keep the following in mind. Contact us before placing your order if you have any concerns.

  • Quantity: Calculate how much candy you need for your event or project.
  • Taste: Manufacturers sometimes change recipes, and taste preferences vary.
  • Color: Hand-made products may vary in color, and colors may appear differently on different monitors.
  • Brand Variance: The same candy type made by different brands may vary in texture, firmness, and taste.
  • Heat: Avoid heat-sensitive items in warm weather — we do not refund for melting. Ensure someone is available to receive your package.
  • Mistakes: Double-check your order before submitting.

If we make a mistake with your order, we will take full responsibility — just contact us within 10 business days of receipt.

Refusal of Package

If a parcel is refused, original and return shipping costs will be charged to the purchaser's original payment method along with a 20% restocking fee.

Cancellations

We process orders quickly — usually within 1 business day — and ship Monday through Friday. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

If you are unable to cancel and wish to return the products, you may refuse or return the package upon delivery (see return and refusal policies above).

Incorrect Shipping Address

If an incorrect address is provided at checkout:

  • Returned in good condition: Customer is responsible for full shipping costs plus a 20% restocking fee.
  • Lost or damaged in transit: No refunds will be issued.

Incorrectly Ordered Items

Items ordered in error must be returned at the purchaser's expense in their original condition to the return address above. No shipping credit will be issued in either direction for customer-error orders.

Hot Weather

YANKEETRADERS® cannot take responsibility for products damaged in transit due to extreme temperatures. If you have perishability concerns, please contact us before ordering.

For products received in unusable condition for reasons other than temperature, a claim must be submitted within 5 days of receipt (per shipment tracking). Claims submitted after this period cannot be honored.

Seasonal Orders

All seasonal merchandise — perishable or non-perishable — is non-returnable due to limited quantities.

Missing Items

If an item is missing from your order, submit a claim within 2 business days of receipt (per FedEx tracking). We will compare your order against the package weight and issue a store credit accordingly.

Incorrect Merchandise

If you receive the wrong item, we will correct the error promptly. Notification must be made within 2 business days of receipt per your shipment tracking.
